Microvatin 10 contains the active ingredient Rosuvastatin - a member of the Atatin group. Rosuvastatin is used with a cholesterol-lowering diet and exercise to lower 'bad' cholesterol (LDL-c) levels and raise 'good' cholesterol (HDL-c). It works by helping to stop the production of 'bad' cholesterol and improving the body's ability to remove it from the blood.
