Mezapulgit contains a digestive powder and a topical antacid. Antacids work by neutralizing the acids secreted by the stomach. It is used in the treatment of pain caused by conditions of the esophagus, stomach, or duodenum and in the symptomatic treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease.
