Luspatercept-aamt is used to increase the red blood cell count in anemia in patients with beta thalassemia (low red blood cell count). Luspatercept-aamt is prepared in an injectable form. Therefore, patients should only use the drug when prescribed by a doctor and performed by a nurse.
