Laparoscopic nephrectomy is indicated for patients with kidney tumors with many outstanding advantages compared to previous methods. Patients do not have to endure an open incision of up to 12cm as before, while shortening the time of hospital treatment and reducing post-operative pain. Currently, with modern laparoscopic surgery techniques, laparoscopic nephrectomy is applied to larger and more invasive kidney tumors.
