Hysingla ER is used to help relieve ongoing severe pain. Hydrocodone belongs to the class of opioid pain relievers, it works in the brain to change the way your body perceives and responds to pain. Do not use extended-release hydrocodone for mild pain that will clear up in a few days. Hysingla is not used regularly.
