Malaria (SR) is an infectious disease caused by the Plasmodium parasite, transmitted mainly by Anopheles mosquitoes that bite infected people and then transmit to healthy people. The parasite lives in red blood cells, causing typical symptoms of periodic malaria attacks accompanied by enlarged liver and spleen, anemia, severe complications, brain damage, kidney failure, liver failure, hemoglobinuria, cardiovascular collapse leading to death.
