drug allergy is an abnormal reaction caused by your immune system overreacting to a drug or its ingredients. All drugs have the potential to cause allergic reactions, including Western medicine, traditional Chinese medicine, and vaccines. However, there are a few types of drugs that are more likely to cause allergic reactions, including antibiotics, anti-inflammatory and painkillers, anesthetics, and contrast agents used in diagnostic imaging (CT scans, MRIs).
