Kidney stones are a common urinary tract disease that requires early treatment. Currently, open surgery to remove kidney stones has been gradually replaced by other less invasive methods such as extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy, retrograde ureteroscopy and percutaneous nephrolithotomy.
