Although the small intestine is a large part of the digestive tract, small intestine tumors are very rare, accounting for only about 3% to 5% of all digestive tract tumors. Unlike esophageal, gastric and colorectal tumors, most small intestine tumors are diagnosed only by morphological examination. With current medical conditions in Vietnam, X-ray and computed tomography are the best and most common means of diagnosing small intestine tumors.
