I have pain in the anal area even after defecating. When sitting or lying down, I keep feeling a prickling pain like a needle around the inside of the anus, sometimes there is a feeling of pressure like a flow pressing the anal area causing sharp pain. I want to go to the bathroom but I can't. When I put pressure on my anus, the pain got better for a few hours and then the symptoms came back. So the doctor asked me what is the cause of anal pain that cannot be defecated? Thank you doctor.
