Vinmec Ha Long is firmly stepping up efforts in communication and health education activities

From the very first days of our establishment, spanning over 7 years of development, Vinmec Ha Long has left a lasting impression on the local community. It is not only due to the high-quality healthcare services and modern treatment techniques but also thanks to our proactive health education and communication activities throughout these years.

Since its founding, Vinmec Healthcare System has clearly identified the significance of Health Education and Communication. Implementing Health Education activities not only helps alleviate the pressure on provincial hospitals but also contributes to creating a healthier Vietnamese community. Recognizing the necessity of raising public awareness, Vinmec Ha Long has actively initiated monthly free Health Education activities. The program aims to provide the public with valuable knowledge about health and medicine. In addition to maintaining FM and AM channels to serve the audience watching/listening to the radio, Vinmec Ha Long actively disseminates knowledge on social media platforms to expand its reach to more local residents.

The programs and activities are regularly conducted with 1-2 broadcasts per month, starting from October 18, 2020, to the present. A notable example is the community radio and television program "Chuyện cùng bác sĩ" (Chatting with the Doctor) from the Quang Ninh Radio and Television Station. It has brought valuable knowledge to local residents, enhancing awareness of the importance of seeking medical services and providing essential guidance on disease prevention and self-treatment.

Since December 2, 2022, Vinmec Hạ Long has initiated a club for the elderly. This activity is organized regularly every Friday with the participation of doctors and a team of experts. Here, senior citizens will enhance their knowledge of preventive medicine, learn measures to protect health from common diseases in the elderly, and gain insights into healthy living, proper nutrition, and beneficial exercises.

Concurrently with the aforementioned activities, on November 25th, Vinmec Ha Long planned and organized Health Education activities regarding prenatal care, pregnancy management, and newborn care. The program received significant attention, attracting many future parents to attend consultations and receive gifts totaling 24,000,000 VND. Additionally, Vinmec Ha Long regularly conducts Health Education activities quarterly to provide and enhance knowledge about health and medicine for the community.

Through actively implementing Community Health Education activities, Vinmec Ha Long aims to disseminate the meaningful message of healthcare knowledge programs to the public. This initiative not only contributes to improving community health but also plays a part in building a society with high awareness of health and healthcare.
