Triamgol brand-name drug with the main ingredient Triamcinolone is a synthetic glucocorticoid with fluorine that helps anti-inflammatory, immunosuppressive, anti-allergic. Triamgol is commonly used to treat arthritis, allergies, or certain respiratory conditions such as obstructive pulmonary disease and some forms of asthma.

Triamgol drug with the main ingredient is Triamcinolone used in the form of alcohol or ester for oral, intramuscular or local injection to help treat disorders requiring corticosteroids. Triamgol has anti-inflammatory, immunosuppressive, anti-allergic effects and has almost no effect of mineral-regulating corticosteroids, so the drug is not used alone to treat adrenal insufficiency. With high systemic doses, Triamgol has the effect of inhibiting the secretion of adrenocorticotropic hormone (ACTH) from the pituitary gland (causing secondary adrenocortical insufficiency), the adrenal cortex stops secreting corticosteroids.

For adults:
The dose is from 4-48 mg/day depending on the disease but the dose is over 32mg /day rarely used Allergy dose: 8-16 mg/day can control disease within 24-48 hours Rheumatoid arthritis: initial dose: 8-16 mg/day for 2-7 days, dose Maintenance dose: 2-16 mg/day Severe seasonal allergic rhinitis: initial dose: 8-12 mg/day, maintenance dose: 2-6 mg/day Lupus erythematosus: initial dose of 20-30 mg/day , maintenance dose: 3-30 mg/day For children:
