2. How to take Simecol

Usual dose:
Children under 2 years old: 1.2 ml/day divided equally 4 times a day (0.3ml/time). The maximum dose is 1.8 ml/day. In the case of preparing for X-ray of the stomach, intestines, gallbladder, kidneys or before gastrointestinal endoscopy, abdominal ultrasound:
Children under 2 years old: 1 ml or 25 drops. Children 2 - 12 years old: about 2 ml or 50 drops. Children over 12 years old and adults: 1-2 teaspoons. In the event of a missed dose of Simecol, it should be taken as soon as possible from the time the missed dose is discovered. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your usual dosing schedule. Do not take a double dose to make up for the missed dose.
