Do not use Hycamtin 0.25mg in the following cases:

The drug is taken orally, it is necessary to swallow the tablet whole with water, do not chew it or let it dissolve in the mouth. Renal impairment: No dose adjustment is required in patients with creatinine clearance between 50 and 80 mL/min. The recommended single oral dose of topotecan in patients with small cell lung cancer with creatinine clearance between 30 and 49 ml/min is 1.9 mg/m2/day for five consecutive days. If tolerated, the dose can be gradually increased up to 2.3 mg/m2/day in the next cycle.

Hepatic impairment: There are no specific studies on the pharmacokinetic effects of oral topotecan in patients with hepatic impairment.
