Chronic sinusitis for a long time causes chronic pharyngitis?

Ask
Hello doctor. I have a cough that doesn't go away for a long time, and often coughs at night. I took antibiotics, but only temporarily. After that, I went to the doctor and it was concluded that I had sinusitis, chronic pharyngitis and bronchitis. So what do I need to do now to cure the disease?
Thank you doctor.

Hello. In chronic sinusitis, the nasal sinus fluid often flows down the throat and back into the bronchi, if it is for a long time, it can cause sinus - bronchial syndrome. The key in this disease is getting the sinus problem under control. Therefore, you need to go to an ENT specialist at Vinmec Health System facilities nationwide to have an endoscopy, possibly additional CT Scan of the nose and sinuses. Thanks to that, the doctor can determine the details of the sinusitis problem and take appropriate treatment measures.
Thank you for your question to Vinmec Health System. Best regards.
