Vinmec is the first in Asia which has two cardiology centers accredited by the American College of Cardiology (ACC) in both Heart failure and Cath-lab. The management and treatment of heart failure and coronary intervention at Vinmec is built following a comprehensive process, from patient admission and emergency examination to inpatient treatment and post-discharge follow-up. The entire treatment process is conducted through specific and strict regulations on professional capacity, treatments and duration, and the number of evaluations and re-examinations to minimize delays and errors, ensuring the quality for patients.

Advanced technology

Vinmec is considered as a pioneer in cardiovascular intervention since the Cardiology Center of Vinmec Central Park (HCMC) has been accredited as the first independent center in Vietnam for transcatheter aortic valve implants (TAVI) and Micra wireless pacemaker implants. Vinmec has implemented these techniques with a 100% success rate, even with elderly, seriously ill patients, or patients with special atopy, without the need for assistance from foreign experts.
The Cardiology Center at Vinmec Times City was one of the first hospitals in Vietnam to successfully implement ventricular-assisted artificial heart transplants, offering hope to patients with end-stage heart failure who are awaiting heart transplants.

International collaboration

Vinmec has been actively collaborating with major cardiovascular centers in Europe and the United States, such as Paris Descartes University, Georges Pompidou Hospital (France), and the University of Pennsylvania (USA), to apply the latest global advancements in cardiovascular treatment.
