Uses of Zytopic

Zytopic is a medication used to treat skin conditions that are responsive to corticosteroids. Improper or prolonged topical use of this drug also carries the risk of systemic side effects.

Zytopic drug with the main ingredient is Triamcinolone, used topically to relieve symptoms of inflammation on the skin. Triamcinolone is a synthetic glucocorticoid containing fluorine, which has anti-inflammatory, immunosuppressive, and anti-allergic effects. Zytopic is used according to the following steps:
Wash your hands with soap and clean water before/after using this medicine. Apply a thin layer of the drug to the damaged skin to be treated. Gently rub the medication over the skin, usually 2 to 3 times per day. If you are using it on or near your face, protect your nose and eyes and avoid applying the medicine to these areas. Do not bandage or wrap the area being treated because it increases absorption, unless directed by your doctor. If this medication is being applied to swaddled areas in an infant, do not use diapers or tights unless directed to do so by your doctor.
