Fungoid-D drugs: Uses, indications and precautions when using

The drug Fungoid-D, the active ingredient tolnaftate, is an antifungal medicine. The drug is prepared in the form of a topical cream with a tolnaftate content of 1%.

Tolnaftate is used to treat skin infections such as tinea pedis , pruritus and ringworm . Fungoid-D is an antifungal medicine that works by stopping the growth of fungi. Some form of tolnaftate can also be used to prevent tinea pedis from coming back.

For external use of Fungoid-D only. The patient should thoroughly clean and dry the area to be treated. Apply Fungoid-D to the affected area of ​​skin, usually twice a day as directed on the product packaging or as directed by your doctor. The dose and duration of Fungoid-D depend on the type of infection being treated.
Apply enough medicine to cover the affected area and some surrounding skin. After using Fungoid-D, the patient should wash their hands. Do not wrap, cover, or bandage the application site unless directed to do so by your doctor.
Do not apply Fungoid-D to the eyes, nose, mouth, or vagina.
Use Fungoid-D regularly to achieve optimal treatment effect. Remember to take tolnaftate at the same time(s) each day.
Continue to use Fungoid-D until the prescribed amount is exhausted, even if the symptoms disappear after starting the medication. Stopping the medication too soon can allow the fungus to continue to grow, leading to recurrent infections.
Notify physician if patient's condition persists after 2 weeks of treatment for itchy skin, after 4 weeks of treatment for tinea pedis or ringworm, or if condition becomes severe at any time.
