What is the reason why taking acne medicine is dizzy and gut-wrenching?
Ask
Hello pharmacist! My wife is 21 years old this year, working as a kindergarten teacher, her face has a lot of acne. My wife went to the doctor and the doctor prescribed medicine to take and take it when she was full. But in the morning, my wife was dizzy, when she drank more in the afternoon, her stomach was scratched. Please ask the pharmacist what is the cause of the dizziness and stomach cramps when taking the acne medicine? Is it because of the ingredients of the drug or is it because the drug is too strong? Thanks.

Answer
Hello! I do not give the name of the drug that my wife is taking so that the doctor can answer about the effect of the drug. However, with the symptoms that my wife has after taking the drug, dizziness and a feeling of gnawing may be a side effect of the drug.
Some of the side effects are described in the prescribing information. I need to carefully review the instructions for use of the drug and notify the doctor about the unwanted effects that my wife has encountered for more advice.
Or you can also take your wife to the hospital of Vinmec Health System for a doctor to examine and advise on effective acne treatment. Thank you for trusting and sharing the question "What is the reason for taking medicine to treat acne and dizziness?" Best regards.
