Indications for surgery for prostate tumors are not based on the weight of the tumor because there are cases where the tumor is large but there is no urinary disturbance and vice versa.
Indications for surgery for prostate tumor in the following cases: Complete urinary retention, even after urethral catheterization. Incomplete urinary retention with residual urine after urinating, failure of medical treatment. Recurrent hematuria due to an enlarged prostate gland (UPDLT). Bladder diverticulum, bladder stones due to UTI. Renal failure (renal failure should be completely treated before endoscopic resection). UPDTLT affects health, sleep or interferes with work.
