How to definitively treat venous thrombosis of the extremities?

Ask
Hello doctor!
I have had thrombosis of the left lower extremity vein for nearly 3 months now. I took the medicine but it didn't go away, now my left leg is swollen, it's watery, lying on my feet will help with swelling but if I walk and stand a lot, my legs will swell and stretch around my feet and calves. The doctor asked me how to completely treat venous thrombosis in the extremities? Ask your doctor for advice. I would like to thank you.

Hello!
With the question "How to definitively treat venous thrombosis in the extremities? ", the doctor would like to answer as follows:
You are young and have had venous thrombosis of the extremities, you should go to the doctor soon to be examined by a vascular specialist, oncologist, find the cause of thrombosis and receive treatment. Prescribe medication appropriate to your medical condition. Deep vein thrombosis in the legs can lead to a fatal pulmonary embolism.
Thank you for your question to Vinmec Health System, looking forward to meeting you in person for more specific advice. Best regards!
