Lymphadenopathy in children is a form of extrapulmonary tuberculosis with common lymph node locations such as: cervical lymph nodes, inguinal lymph nodes, and axillary lymph nodes. Lymph nodes in infants or young children are generally larger than those in adults.

Swollen lymph nodes in the armpit can be one of the warning signs of breast cancer. Therefore, if you see this symptom, the patient should be examined and treated early to improve the survival rate.
