Bexarotene is used to treat skin problems caused by a type of cancer called cutaneous T-cell lymphoma - CTCL. Bexarotene belongs to a class of drugs called retinoids (vitamin A derivatives). Bexarotene works by slowing or stopping the growth of cancer cells.
