Ulcerative colitis (ulcerative colitis) is a chronic inflammatory condition of unknown cause and with a relapsing clinical course. About half of the patients had a mild episode and were easily managed with aminosalicylate, while the other half required at least one course of oral or intravenous corticosteroids.
