Ferrousul, or Ferrous sulfate, is an inorganic iron salt. Medicines come in many forms and strengths, such as film-coated tablets, capsules, syrups, and drops. Iron is needed for red blood cell formation, myoglobin and the respiratory enzyme cytochrome C. This substance is absorbed through food, most effectively ferromagnetic in meat.
