Endoscopy is the mainstay method for early gastric cancer screening because of its high detection rate, however, diagnostic accuracy is highly dependent on the availability of endoscopic instruments. Many new endoscopic techniques have been shown to increase the likelihood of early gastric cancer diagnosis.
