The Vaccine Center - Vinmec International Hospital, established in 2012, with over 10 years of operation experience, has become one of the most trusted vaccination locations in Vietnam. The center strictly adheres to the vaccination procedures according to the standards of the Ministry of Health and international standards. Every customer undergoes screening, consultation about vaccines before vaccination, and health monitoring after vaccination. Various services

To ensure optimal cost and vaccination effectiveness, customers are advised on suitable vaccines based on age, health status, and disease situation, along with guidance on home health care methods to enhance quality of life. Currently, the vaccine center offers the following services:

1. Health screening and vaccination consultation for all subjects:

Newborns (Hepatitis B, tuberculosis vaccines) if they have been re-examined post-birth with the neonatal department or customers who have given birth at other hospitals and only want to vaccinate.

Pregnant women receiving vaccines for tetanus, diphtheria-pertussis-tetanus, and influenza.

Children, adults, and the elderly receiving vaccines as recommended.

Special medical cases: Congenital heart disease, people with underlying conditions (cardiovascular, hypertension, diabetes, COPD, asthma, etc.), stem cell transplant recipients, splenectomy patients, premature or extremely premature infants.

Administration of Hepatitis B immunoglobulin (newborns with mothers carrying the Hepatitis B virus, individuals exposed to the Hepatitis B virus).

Women planning to conceive.

2. Antibody quantification testing to advise on vaccinations: antibodies against Hepatitis A virus, Hepatitis B virus, measles, mumps, rubella, and chickenpox.

3. Quantiferon testing to evaluate tuberculosis infection status for individuals needing tests before going abroad. 

Children's vaccines

Notably, the hospital has developed vaccine packages for children with various options such as 0–1-year-old, 0–2year-old, and 1–2-year-old to suit the vaccination schedule and family economic status. These vaccine packages are combined with cards to prioritize free medical examinations and reduce costs for subclinical services (blood tests, X-rays, imaging diagnostics, etc.) to optimally save costs for customers.

At the Vaccine Center, in addition to vaccination, there is a combination of neonatal clinic and pediatric clinic for screening diseases, tracking developmental milestones (mental and motor), providing health management and consultation to support the comprehensive development of children 

JCI standard vaccine

Vinmec Times City International Hospital is the first hospital in Hanoi to comply with the international JCI standards of the United States for vaccine storage and usage processes. Using high-quality vaccines with clear origins ensures safety from the stage of import, storage, to utilization. Vinmec preserves vaccines using a cold chain that meets GSP standards, with a modern cold storage system that allows vaccines to always be kept in the best possible conditions. All customers undergo pre-vaccination screening to ensure their health is fit for vaccination. 

Doctors provide families with consultation on vaccines suitable for each age group based on the latest recommendations from the Ministry of Health and the World Health Organization. The team of experienced pediatric doctors and nurses can offer advice and handle complex vaccination situations. All customers are monitored for 30 minutes post-vaccination and their condition is reassessed before leaving. Additionally, the Vaccine Center at Vinmec International Clinic (Vinmec Times City – 458 Minh Khai Street) is organized according to the one-way flow regulation of the Ministry of Health. Upon arrival, each customer is guided and directed through the process: weighing and measuring, pre-vaccination screening, payment, waiting for vaccination, get vaccinated, and finally, a 30-minute post-vaccination observation. From the very beginning, the Vaccine Center at Vinmec was designed with a U-shaped vaccination process. 

This layout follows the principle of entering through one route and exiting through another, ensuring a one-way flow from inside to outside, thus avoiding any reverse movement. This arrangement not only helps to limit cross-contamination but also ensure the most privacy for each customer. Additionally, the Vaccine Center is located on the 4th floor of Vinmec International Clinic, about 200 meters away from the hospital. This area primarily serves healthy customers with low disease risk, reducing the likelihood of cross-infection during their visit to the clinic.
