Master Trinh Thi Hong Nhung has 8 years of studying and working in laboratories in Vietnam and Korea in fields such as Stem cells (MSCs derived from umbilical cord, bone marrow or adipose tissue; differentiation MSCs into osteocytes, adipocytes or chondrocytes; Animal cells), Genetics (Mutations and gene polymorphisms associated metabolic disorders, antitrypsin deficiency), Molecular Biology (study on the relationship between structure and function of proteins).
Currently, Nhung is a Technician at the Vinmec Research Institute of Stem cell and Gene Technology, participating in the following topics: Establishment of adipose-, bone marrow-, and umbilical cord derived mesenchymal stem cell biobank; Cellular manufacturing of Vicell-1; Comparative analysis of mesenchymal stem cells from bone marrow, adipose, and umbilical cord for clinical applications.
M.Sc. Nhung has contributed three international papers in the field of biomedical - molecular biology and reported her scientific works at international conferences.
