MSc, MD, Nguyen Thi Kien is a Pediatrician with many years of experience, specializing particularly in Pediatric Nephrology (Pediatric Kidney). She graduated as a General Practitioner from La Habana School of Medical Sciences, Cuba (2005–2011) and completed her Master's program in Pediatrics at Hanoi Medical University (2017–2019). During her studies, the doctor gained valuable experience in Pediatrics and Pediatric Nephrology through exchange programs and clinical training in Cuba, and has participated in numerous domestic and international seminars on Pediatrics and Nephrology. 

Dr. Kien worked at the Department of Nephrology - Dialysis, National Children's Hospital from 2012 to 2022. Since August 2022, she has been serving as a Clinical Doctor at the Pediatric Center – Vinmec Times City International Hospital. Her specialized services include the examination, diagnosis, and treatment of common pediatric illnesses, with a deep focus on pediatric kidney diseases.

For her research work, she successfully defended her Master's Thesis on "Comparison of clinical, paraclinical manifestations, and histopathology in children with drug-resistant nephrotic syndrome" (2019). Dr. Kien is a member of the Vietnam Society of Pediatric Nephrology and Urology and the Vietnam Society of Pediatric Kidney Transplantation. She also contributes to medical education as a Visiting Lecturer at the Pediatric Center.
