Nam attained a Master of Social Work degree from RMIT University (Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology) in 2014 via the Australian Government scholarship program.
He boasts over a decade of experience offering psychological assistance to diverse client groups, including children, adolescents, and adults grappling with an array of psychological challenges such as trauma, violence and abuse, depression, anxiety, personality disorders, complex mental health issues, and sexual orientation.
Nam has attended numerous comprehensive training programs on mental health support therapies utilizing various approaches, including Psychoanalysis, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness, to effectuate crisis interventions, trauma, mental health first aid, and address common mental health issues.
Furthermore, he is an accomplished expert in the domain of gender and disability, backed by extensive experience working alongside both national and international organizations such as UNICEF, UNWomen, UNFPA, World Vision, Plan International, Save the Children, Hagar Vietnam, the Ministry of Education and Training, and the Ministry of Labour, Invalids, and Social Affairs.
In addition to his professional work, Nam is a guest lecturer at distinguished universities in Vietnam, including the National University of Hanoi, Pedagogy University, Women's Academy, and Youth Academy.
Nam has also contributed to numerous research and training projects pertaining to mental health, disability, gender issues, family, and social integration, with many documents and publications featured in esteemed domestic and international journals.
