Dr. Ngoc Lan was participating in teaching postgraduate specialist doctors in obstetric and gynecologic surgery, as well as transferring open and laparoscopic surgery techniques to many hospitals in the country. Besides, she also gave lectures about basic and advance laparoscopic surgery to foreign doctors (the Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia…)
She was awarded the Merit by the Prime Minister, and the Minister of Health... because of her contributions to people's healthcare
