THE FIRST PRIVATE ROBOTIC SURGERY CENTER IN VIETNAM GRAND OPENING
On 21st July 2018, Vinmec Times City International Hospital officially inaugurated the first private Robotic Surgery Center in Vietnam; officially expertised the robotic surgical treatment for cancer, gastroenterological, genitourinary , gynecological... diseases with 95% success rate.
Vinmec Times City Robotic Surgery Center acquired the Da Vinci robot manufactured in the United States. This advanced, sophisticated and modern Robot has four arms that simulate almost perfectly human hand’s movement, meeting to the highest requirements. So that, the surgical robot is able to penetrate into narrow, deep and inaccessible position, which resolves the limitation of open and classic endoscopic surgeries. By its outstanding advantages: safety, minimization of complication and surgical infection risks, Pain relief, minimal blood loss, fast recovering, and aesthetic guarantee, robot can be used for almost every case which needs to be treated by endoscopy, especially in cancer treatment.
