A SUCCESSFUL HIP JOINT DISLOCATION SURGERY FOR CANADIAN SEAPLANE PILOT

Only 3 days after emergency surgery for severe hip joint dislocation due to a traffic accident, seaplane pilot Mr. Dustin Spencer (34 year old, Canadian) was able to begin to walking again. Following a crash between motorcycle and a car, Mr. Spencer was unable to move his right leg, which is very painful. When realising that he had sustained a very serious bone and joint injury, Mr. Spencer intended to fly back to Canada for treatment.

Six days after surgery, he was discharged and performed periodical rehabilitation sessions under intensive exercises in the hospital.

In mid-January 2017, before returning to Canada Mr. Spencer had his last follow-up visit with Doctor Doan Manh Hung (Orthopedic Unit and his direct treating physician).
