Guideline for customers with Health Insurance

Step 1:

  • If you are a new customer: fill out the Registration Form at the Registration Counter.
  • If you are an old customer: do not have to fill out the Registration Form.

Step 2:

  • Customers receive medical examination and treatment with doctors and pay all hospital fees incurred at the cashier counters of medical examination departments.
  • Customers receive medicine according to the doctor's prescription (if any) at the hospital's pharmacy.

Step 3: When making payment, the Customer presents the following documents:

Right line:

  • The health insurance card is still valid.
  • ID card or valid photo identification or Birth Certificate (for children).
  • List of service charges and Prescription (if any).
  • If the health insurance card does not have the initial registration for medical examination and treatment at Vinmec Hospital, a medical insurance transfer paper is required, made according to form 02/BYT.

Opposite line:

  • The health insurance card is still valid.
  • National ID card, or valid photo identification, or Birth Certificate (for children).
  • Hospital transfer paper according to the form of the Ministry of Health. If transferring through an intermediary route (eg From District » Province » Vinmec), the Client needs to have a photocopy of the transfer paper from the initial hospital to the intermediate route (The hospital transfer letter from the district to the province).
  • List of service charges and Prescription (if any).

Step 4: The customer receives the hospital fee back under the Social Insurance scheme and pays the drug amount outside the payment range of the social insurance (if any) at the hospital's insurance counter.
