We are the combination of three specialties: Urologic surgery - Gastrointestinal surgery – Orthopedics. Our functions are Inpatient/Outpatient Care / Urological, genital, digestive, hepatological, musculoskeletal, neurological-spinal disease consultation.
With modern equipment and our experienced medical team, the General Surgery Department – Vinmec Nha Trang International Hospital is able to apply many methods of surgery from conventional to difficult surgeries, from open surgeries to laparoscopic surgeries, which are less invasive.

Over the past two years, we have performed hundreds of extensive and difficult surgeries such as spondylolisthesis surgery, herniation, cervical-lumbar spinal stenosis surgery, hip-knee replacement, Arthroscopy, Pediatric Orthopedic Surgery. We also successfully performed difficult gastrointestinal surgeries such as the Whipple procedure (pancreaticoduodenectomy), Mile’s operation (Abdominoperineal resection), colorectal segmental resection, segmental colectomy, Splenectomy. Many difficult urologic surgeries such as Percutaneous nephrolithotomy (PCNL), ureteroplasty, Partial nephrectomy, Surgical resection of renal tumor were successfully undergone as well.
Our General surgery department consists of surgeons and anesthesiologists who work effectively on the same surgical team. Our experienced anesthesiologists have safely administered anesthesia for all pathology surgeries, which contributes to the success of the surgeries. We have succeeded in performing pain relief in painless delivery, postoperative pain relief for hip/knee replacement, especially we underwent successfully and effectively postoperative ultrasound-guided anesthetic technique, as well as postoperative pain relief by continuous anesthetic infusion through neurological catheter for women who had C-section and patients who underwent open surgeries.
The Department of General Surgery is currently cooperating with leading professors and experts of Ho Chi Minh City Medicine and Pharmacy University in diagnosis and treatment, with our aim is to provide the most efficient health care.
